Please obey the 20 MPH speed limit.
Park your vehicles and trailers out of the way of traffic and driveways, especially on Oakridge Drive and Barlett Drive.
It is illegal to drive any four wheeler on any public road or street in Mobile County. That would include all of the streets in Oakridge West Subdivision. Please report anyone, child or adult, to the Sheriff’s Department.
It is illegal for dogs to run loose in the state of Alabama. This also includes our neighborhood. Dogs should be kept inside or in secured backyards. Remember, our covenants limit the number of cats and dogs together not to exceed three (3), and animals may not be kept, bred, or maintained for any commercial purpose or use. Please call Animal Control to report such problems.
House trailers, mobile homes, motor homes, campers, and/or trailers may be kept on the premises only if kept either within a fully enclosed garage or under a carport not visible from any public street. Boats must be kept on trailers in the rear yard not visible from any public street or within a garage or carport not visible from any public street.
Inoperable motor homes, cars, or trucks not in use are not allowed. No lot or homeowner shall be allowed to use property for such activities as parking trailers, inoperable motor homes, cars, or trucks not in use or for repairs of the same.
All lots, whether occupied or unoccupied, and any improvements placed thereon, shall at all times be maintained in a neat and attractive condition and in such manner as to prevent their becoming unsightly by reason of unattractive growth on such lot or by the accumulation of rubbish or debris to include, but not limited to, miscellaneous personal items, thereon.
There have been several cases of parents in cars blocking driveways near where the school bus picks up children, especially in the mornings. Although not specifically addressed in the covenant, this should be covered under the category common courtesy.
